  • All the PBX features: IVR, queues, recording and schedules.

  • Remote work and mobility without losing your company line.
  • No extra cost from VoIPer: only the corresponding Microsoft licences are required.

What is a virtual PBX with Microsoft Teams?

It is the integration of VoIPer's virtual PBX with Microsoft Teams: your Teams account becomes another extension of the PBX, like an additional device for your company. Your teams call and answer with the corporate number from the application they already use every day.

It works on desktop, mobile and web: wherever your team has Microsoft Teams open, they can make and handle company calls, without depending on a fixed workstation or a specific device.

And all with the strength of a business-grade, professional virtual PBX: IVR, queues, call recording, schedules and reports managed by VoIPer, with phone support and customer service of the highest quality.

Benefits of combining Microsoft Teams and the virtual PBX

Your team works in a single application and your customers always reach you on your company number, wherever each person is.

Unified communications

Chat, meetings, video and business telephony in a single application. Your team doesn't switch tools to answer the phone.

Corporate number anywhere

At the office, at home or on the road: your employees call and answer with the company number. Ideal for hybrid work and remote work.

Business continuity

If a workstation, a site or a device is unavailable, calls keep coming in through the PBX and can be answered from any other device with Teams.

No new hardware

No need to buy or install additional handsets: make the most of the computers and mobiles your team already uses Teams on.

Highest-quality customer service

Behind the integration is VoIPer, with phone support and customer service of the highest quality.

Works alongside your other devices

Teams works together with desk phones, softphones and VoIPer's mobile app: each user answers wherever they prefer.

By connecting Teams with VoIPer's virtual PBX, your business calls get all the professional phone-service features.

How it works

Setting up business telephony in Microsoft Teams with VoIPer is a simple, guided process.

1

Sign up for your extension

Activate VoIPer's virtual PBX or add an extension to your current service. No lock-in and no extra hardware.

2

We link Teams with the PBX

VoIPer's team connects your extension with your Microsoft Teams user and configures IVR, queues, schedules and recording to your needs.

3

Call from Teams

Your team starts making and receiving calls with the corporate number from Teams, on desktop, mobile or web.

VoIPer's support team handles the entire setup together with you: no technical knowledge or complex configurations required.

No extra cost from VoIPer

Integration with Microsoft Teams is included in your virtual PBX, like all VoIPer integrations. You won't pay any additional fee for turning Teams into an extension for your company.

Only the corresponding Microsoft licences are required (Microsoft 365 with Teams calling capability), which are contracted directly with Microsoft, not with VoIPer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I call external numbers from Microsoft Teams?

Yes. With VoIPer's integration, Teams becomes an extension of the virtual PBX: you'll be able to call external landlines and mobiles and receive calls with your company's corporate number.

What do I need from Microsoft?

You need the corresponding Microsoft 365 licences with Teams calling capability. These licences are contracted directly with Microsoft, not with VoIPer. If you have questions about your current licensing, we'll guide you with no obligation.

Does it have an additional cost with VoIPer?

No. Like all VoIPer integrations, the Microsoft Teams integration is included in the virtual PBX at no additional cost. You only need to cover the cost of the Microsoft licences.

Can I combine Teams with physical phones and the mobile app?

Yes. Teams works alongside desk phones, softphones and VoIPer's mobile app. You can set up several devices to ring at once and answer each call from whichever you prefer.

Do I keep the IVR, queues and call recording?

Yes. All virtual PBX features also apply to calls handled in Teams: IVR, call queues, recording, time-based schedules, forwarding and reports.
